To all who helped on the stalls at the Pollination Festival and the Village Day – and a big thanks to John, Vicky and Lucy for planning and putting together the displays and activities. Visitors to the garden centre Pollination Festival from around the area did a “Spot the Pollinator” quiz and went home with information on how to encourage pollinators in their gardens. This was a joint event with the Environment Action Group, and we did it again on Village Day in Oakington, along with a bee hotel building workshop, and the chance to make bees out of fir cones!
